Description

A number of methods are known to determine moisture content of materials under industrial conditions. The nuclear moisture content measurement is more universal and less sensitive to interferences as compared to other techniques. The measurement of moisture content using the neutron moderation method is described in detail. Technological applications for moisture gauges are overviewed: producing mixtures with constant moisture content, feeding specific amounts of moisture, feeding with weight correction. (R.P.) 11 figs
