Quantitative phase analysis in the assessment of coronary artery disease during rest and during oesophageal atrial pacing

  • 1. First Affiliate Hospistal of Henan Medical University, Zhengzhou (China)

Description

60 patients underwent equilibrium radionuclide ventriculography (ERV) during rest and 30 of the 60 during oesophageal atrial pacing also. ERV was performed in the modified 45 C deg left anterior oblique projection and data analysis using programs developed in our department, was processed to obtain four parameters, such as left ventricular phase angle way (LVW), phase standard deviation (LVSD), mean phase angle (LVMP) and phase skewness(LVSK). The results indicated that the semiquantitative parameters of LVW and LVSD were effective indexes of synchrony of myocardial contraction. If LVW and LVSD were taken as indexes for diagnosis of coronary artery disease, their sensitivity was 83.3% and specificity 70%
