Description
We show how to simulate intermittency patterns of multiplicity fluctuations in rapidity for any multiparticle production process. The simulation uses an 'upside-down' mechanism mixing a random cascading process with a multi-poissonian statistical noise. As an example, we discuss the analysis problems at very small rapidity bin, such as the modifications due to finite multiplicity or number of cascading steps (partial intermittency). (orig.)
