Polarization of a final electron in the Compton effect

Description
The Compton scattering of high energy electrons on a laser beam is considered and the polarization of final electrons in the set up close to future experiments is calculated. The polarization effects obtained are large and should be taken into account in calculations connected with the multiple scattering of the electrons on the laser beam. 10 refs., 1 fig., 1 tab
