- 1. CTBT Beijing NDC and NRL (China)
Description
The U.N opened the Comprehensive Nuclear-Test-Ban Treaty for signature on 24 September of 1996 in New York. Verification regime was defined in the treaty to monitor compliance of the treaty by global stations of seismic, hydroacoustic, infrasonic and radionuclide. Events screening criterions were listed in the treaty, including eleven seismic events screening criterions. Basic theory of screening criterions for seismic events in CTBT are discussed, and statistic analysis for performances of some main criterions are also discussed using standard screened event bulletin of IDC.
