A classification of SU3 magnetic monopoles

A classification scheme is proposed for SU3 magnetic monopoles when the Higgs fields lie in the adjoint representation. The scheme is based on a study of the second homotopy groups of the orbit spaces. (orig.)

Fuer den Fall, dass die Higgs-Felder in der adjungierten Darstellung liegen, wird fuer magnetische SU3-Monopole ein Klassifikationsschema vorgeschlagen. Das Schema basiert auf einer Untersuchung der zweiten homotopischen Gruppe der Bahnraeume. (orig.)
