Charmonium suppression in nuclear collisions

Description

Measurements of ψ and ψ' production from experiment NA50 at the CERN SPS are compared to calculations based on a hadronic model of charmonium suppression developed previously. Data on centrality dependence and total cross sections are in good accord with these predictions. Uncertainties in theoretical quantities such as NA50's L parameter are discussed
