Wavelength scaling in laser fusion from a plasma-physics viewpoint
Description
The scaling with laser wavelength of plasma-physics processes important to laser fusion, for parameters typical of eventual reactor targets is considered. The results emphasize the strong potential benefits of lasers with wavelength considerably less than one micron. (author)
