Fuel assembly spacer plates of zirconium alloys

Description

Results of using fuel assemblies where spacing grids of Inconel-718 are completely or partially replaced by plates of zirconium alloys (zircaloy-4 and so on) are described. Analysis of mechanical properties, radiation growth and relaxation characteristics testifies to the promising character of using such fuel assemblies to increase power production
