Installation requirements of cobalt units in old buildings
Description
The installation requirements of radiotherapy units are discussed. The authors pay special attention to the cheaper and most comfortable solution in connection with the installation of six Theratron 780C cobalt units. They give a short account about the solution by which the beam stopper can be avoided even at very small treatment rooms. Their conclusion is that the physicist should play decisive role in the proper investment in radiotherapy facilities. (author). 17 refs., 5 figs
