A study of the peak ratios in CaF2:Tm (TLD-300) as a function of beta energy

Description
A method is presented for determining the energy of unknown beta radiation using the peak height ratio H3/H5 in CaF2:Tm(TLD-300). The angular dependence and the effect of the absorber thickness in a fingertip TLD holder, Alnor type, have also been investigated. (author)
