Description
The glass model represents the nuclear steam generator system of Muelheim-Kaerlich nuclear power station on a scale of 1:25 and in simplified form, so that the thermohydraulic behaviour in both normal operational and fault conditions can be represented. A set-up time of about one hour results in a helpful aid to instruction. (orig.)
Abstract (German)
Das Glasmodell bildet das nukleare Dampferzeugersystem des Kernkraftwerks Muelheim-Kaerlich im Massstab 1:25 vereinfacht ab, so dass das thermohydraulische Verhalten bei Normal- wie auch bei Stoerbetrieb veranschaulicht werden kann. Bei Ruestzeiten von etwa 1 Stunde ist es eine hilfreiche Unterrichtsergaenzung. (orig.)Additional details
