Description
To investigate how well the pickup model can describe angular distributions of cross section and analyzing power of the (p,α)-reaction induced by polarized protons of Esub(p)=72 MeV, the authors have analyzed the data of the reactions 12C(p,α)9Bsub(g.s.) and 58Ni(p,α)55Cosub(g.s.) applying the distorted-wave Born approximation (DWBA) with a triton cluster form factor for the transferred nucleons.
