Holomorphic shadowing for Hénon maps

  • 1. Department of Mathematics, Taylor University, 236 West Reade Avenue, Upland, IN 46989 (United States)

Description

We describe a correcting operator for those pseudo-orbits of the quadratic complex Hénon map that remain bounded away from the origin by an amount that depends on the map. The iterates of the operator converge to a holomorphic motion that respects the dynamics. This computational procedure is then applied in the contexts of horseshoes and solenoids
