Euclidean fields: lattice models
Description
Free transverse vector fields of mass m >= 0 are studied. The model is related to the usual free vector meson and free electromagnetic quantum field theories by extension of the field operators from transverse to arbitrary test functions. ''Euclidean'' transverse vector fields on the lattice (Ising model) are regarded. We discuss some related problems from electrostatics like total charge, Dirichlet boundary conditions and two dimensional Coulomb problem, using the Markoff property. Ergodic Markoff processes on hypersurfaces in R3 are constructed. Some results are applied to massless quantum field models
