Description
X-ray diffraction investigation of LiNH4MoO4·H2O (1) was conducted. Compound 1 crystallizes in rhombic syngony with the following parameters: a=7.865(2), b=10.883(2), c=12.956(2) A, sp. gr. Pcab, Z=8. Crystal structure of island type is based on MoO42, Li+ and NH4+ ions. Mo-O distances are within the range of 1.731(3)-1.772(4) A. Tetrahedral polyhedron of lithium is formed by water molecule and three donor oxygen atoms of molybdato-group. Molecules of crystallization water form hydrogen bonds (2.76 and 2.79 A) with oxoanions, thus performing the binding function in the structure
