Enhancement of erosion resistance of steels used in power machine-building
Description
Erosion resistance after interphase cyclic treatment, which consists in metal heating to the point of phase transition and thermocycling around the point, has been studied using samples of the 20, 14Kh17N2, 25Kh1MF steels. It is shown that as a result of cycling in the range of 760-780 deg C at a rate of 2-10 deg/min and subsequent heat treatment parameters of erosion resistance increased by a factor of two for steel 14Kh17N2
