This paper will illustrate some scenarios forward for nuclear energy, regionally and internationally. Given the increasing pressure on greenhouse gas emission reductions, the projected investments in the future do bring nuclear energy again more into the picture especially in China and other non-OECD countries where nuclear investments could make-up 15 to 25% of the low-carbon energy generation technologies investments
