Discrete diffraction in network of magnonic crystals

  • 1. Laboratory "Metamaterials", Saratov State University, Saratov 410012 (Russian Federation)

Description

We report on theoretically study of spin waves propagating through the system of side – coupled one-dimensional magnonic crystals. Using transfer matrix method (TMM) and implement for magnetic system acquainted coupled mode approach we obtained transmission coefficients in magnonic system. We considered the discrete diffraction of spin waves in lattice of periodic structures. Results of calculating introduce complicated behaviour of spin wave package in Bragg bandgap area. The main advantage of our theoretical results is possibility to create selective devices of proposed 2D magnonic network. (paper)
