Influence of electric fields on pinning in YBa2Cu3O7-δ films
- 1. IBM Research Division, Zurich Research Laboratory, Saeumerstrasse 4, 8803 Rueschlikon (Switzerland)
Description
Experimental evidence is provided that the pinning force and the critical current density of YBa2Cu3O7-δ films can be controlled by electric fields. This novel effect is attributed to field-induced changes of the density of mobile charge carriers in the superconductor
