Description
Abstract The Hitachi HU-1000 and AEI EM7 high voltage microscopes have been used for high flux (∼10−2 d/a) irradiation experiments on the Nimonic alloy PE16. The advantages and problems associated with the use of the HVEM at this flux level are discussed in detail. This discussion involves a comparison between the two machines in respect of this type of study.
