An invisible axion with a single Higgs isodoublet
Description
We propose an SU(3) x SU(2) x U(1) gauge model with an invisible axion and a single Higgs isodoublet. The main peculiarity of the model is the use of non-renormalizable effective interactions left over from whatever theory combines SU(3) x SU(2) x U(1) with gravity. We also discuss the SU(5) extensions of the proposed model. (orig.)
