Image intensifier television fluoroscopy, image intensifier fluorography, double contrast method, and pharmacoradiography as well as endoscopy promote the optimization of the diagnostics of gastrointestinal diseases. The value of X-ray radiography for the recognition of biliary tract disorders and the uncleared icterus is high, and in liver and pancreas diseases it contributes to the diagnostic decision
