Effect of pitch-angle distribution on plasma processes in the night-time magnetosphere

Formulae are obtained for estimating the connection time or charged particle flux in dependence not only on the Mc Ilvane parameter, Kp index of geomagnetic activity but on the longitude of the charged particle plane. The index may be expressed through pressure ratio along and across the magnetic field
