Exchange symmetry of the effective interaction in the Landau-Migdal theory of Finite Fermi Systems

Description
We investigate the particle exchange symmetry of the phenomenological effective particle-hole interaction used in the theory of Finite Fermi Systems. We find that experimental data and consistency relations support an interaction which is antisymmetric at the surface and in the exterior region of the nucleus and nonsymmetric in the interior. Besides, we show that the number of adjustable parameters of the effective interaction can be reduced substantially by the use of generalized Ward identities without any loss of agreement with experimental data. Abstract (German)
Wir untersuchen die Teilchenaustauschsymmetrie der in der Theorie endlicher Fermisysteme verwendeten phaenomenologischen effektiven Teilchen-Loch-Wechselwirkung. Wir stellen fest, dass experimentelle Ergebnisse und Konsistenzbeziehungen fuer eine Wechselwirkung sprechen, die an der Oberflaeche und im aesseren Bereich des Kerns antisymmetrisch und im Inneren asymmetrisch ist. Daneben wird gezeigt, dass die Zahl der veraenderlichen Parameter der effektiven Wechselwirung durch den Gebrauch allgemeiner Ward-Identitaeten erheblich verringert werden kann, ohne dass die Uebereinstimmung mit experimentellen Daten verlorengeht.
