Regularities of kinetics of formation of cadmium complexes with tetraphenyl porphins in alcohols
Description
Kinetics of complexing cadmium acetate with tetraphenylporphyne (H2TPhP) and tetra-(p-methoxyphenyl)-porphyne (H2TMPhP) has been studied in ethyl, propyl, butyl, amyl, isoamyl, hexyl, and octyl alcohols. Experimental data have shown that the reaction rate decreases rapidly as alkyl length in alcohols grows, the reaction with H2TPhP being less dependent on the solvent nature than the reaction with H2TMPhP
