Description
The objective of this work is to point out the usefulness and applications of dimensional analysis in neutron transport theory. Some invariant properties are derived in relation to an optical thickness characterizing the reactor composition and configuration. Those properties can reduce the computing effort of sensitivity analysis and parametric studies, and can help the understanding of the physics of many reactor problems. (orig.)
