Quasi-optical millimeter wave rotating TE62 mode generator

Description
The design,measurement technique and experimental results of rotating TE62 mode generator are presented. The source includes millimeter wave optical system and open coaxial wave guide system. The millimeter wave optical system consists of pyramid antenna, hyperbolical reflector, parabolic reflector and quasi parabolic reflector. The open coaxial wave guide system contains open coaxial wave guide cavity, cylinder wave guide and output antenna. It is tested by network analyser and millimeter wave near field pattern auto-test system, and the purity of rotating TE62 mode at 96.4 GHz is about 97%. (authors)
