Description
This article provides a critical reflection about the recent Italian climate policy, the second National Allocation Plan (Nap) and its implications on costs. The study, which was carried out through the Ice (Italian's Carbon Emissions) model, proposes some scenarios of the electric sector's emissions, caps, surplus and costs. The analysis enlightens the strong economic effort which is required to the electric sector and the need for a mix of policy measures which can mitigate carbon emissions.
Abstract (Italian)
Additional details
