Comment on the observation of a moving magnetic monopole

Description

It is determined that if the recent observation of a cosmic-ray track is accepted as produced by a magnetic monopole then the magnetic charge must correspond to a south-seeking pole for a monopole mass less than 6.6times103 GeV/c2. In addition, the pole could not have been produced by a primary cosmic ray in the upper atmosphere
