Chemistry of nuclear recoil 18F atoms. VII. Detection of caging reactions in liquid phase CF3CH3 and CHF2CH3
Description
Recent findings that collisional stabilization of primary energetic 18F substitution reaction products in CF3CH3 and CHF2CH3 occurs to a significant extent (greater than or equal to 20 percent) over the same reactant density range in which caging reactions take place are reported. (U.S.)
