Electric conductivity of solid solutions in the Li6BeO4-Li8ZrO6 system

Description
Differential thermal analysis, X-ray powder diffraction and electrical conductivity measurements were used to study phase equilibria in the Li6BeO4-Li8ZrO6 system. Limited solid solutions based on α- and β-Li6BeO4 phases were found. When ∼10 mol % lithium zirconate is added, conductivity of α-solid solution in lithium beryllate increases by 1-2 orders of magnitude against conductivity of undoped lithium beryllate
Abstract (Russian)
Методами дифференциального термического и рентгенофазового анализа, а также измерением электропроводности образцов изучено фазовое равновесие в системе Li6BeO4-Li8ZrO6. Установлено, что в системе образуется ограниченный ряд твердых растворов на основе α- и β-модификаций Li6BeO4. Показано, что при добавлении ∼10 мол. % цирконата лития проводимость α-твердого раствора на основе берилата лития увеличивается на 1-2 порядка по сравнению с проводимостью чистого литияAdditional details
