Method for separating and enriching boron isotopes
Description
Object: To separate boron isotopes with an ion exchange resin an effective and rapid manner. Structure: Boric acid is incontact with an OH-type weak base anion resin fiber having a diameter of 100 microns or less, an aspect ratio of 5 or more and an exchange capacity of 2 meq/g or more which is loaded in a separation column at a specific volume of 2.0 to 20.0 ml/g. Boron-10 can be separated from boron-11 by eluting the boric acid with pure water. (Kamimura, M.)
