Information from foreign reports and revies on technical equipment and methods for in-pile and post irradiation studies of the HTGR fuel microparticles and fuel elements is summarized and analysed. The types of irradiation devices and microparticles and fuel elements arrangement in those devices are concidered, controlled parameters and the methods used for analysis are determined
