Influence of hydrothermal performance departures on the accuracy of determination of limiting acceptable power of fuel assembly

Description
Estimation of empirical parameters and effects, such as radial mixing influencing maximum permissible fuel power calculation for further experimental investigation planning is conducted.Negligible influence of the accuracy of real void fraction given value and onset of surface boiling on fuel assembly maximum permissible power is determined, while influence of accuracy of lattice local resistance coefficients and friction resistance correction coefficients and on two-phase state is essential. It is determined, that subchannel mixing intensity coefficient is one of the most essential empirical parameters and further investigations of coolant subchannel interaction in rod geometry are necessary
