Compound hypernucleus interpretation of the Λ4H formation probabilities in the stopped K- absorption
Description
For the abundant Λ4H production observed in the stopped K- absorption on light nuclei, a theoretical model is proposed, in which the basic ingredient is formation and fragmentation of a Λ compound nucleus. The estimated Λ4H formation probabilities per stopped K- are in rather good agreement with the observed values. (author)
