Description
ABB Combustion Engineering in the USA has developed an evolutionary advanced light water reactor called the System 80+ Standard Plant Design which is based on proven nuclear safety concepts and incorporates improvements that enhance the complete plant. With a thermal rating of 3931 MW or net electrical output of 1350 MW, the System 80+ reactor is sized to meet the future requirements of nuclear utilities. (orig.)

ABB Combustion Engineering, USA, hat eine Anlagenauslegung fuer evolutionaere Leichtwasserreaktoren unter der Beziehung 'System 80+TM Standard Design' entwickelt, die auf bewaehrten Sicherheitskonzepten beruht und Verbesserungen fuer die gesamte Anlage bringt. Mit einer thermischen Leistung von 3931 MW - entsprechend einer elektrischen Nettoleistung von 1350 MW -erfuellt diese Nuklearanlage die Beduerfnisse zukunftsgerichteter Stromversorgung.
