Lithium alloys with some heavy metals
Description
In this note, the author reports a bibliographical investigation related to bismuth-lithium alloys and lead-lithium alloys about which only equilibrium diagrams, chemical resistance to some agents, and thermal resistance had been studied until then, whereas the objective is to use these alloys for radiation protection. For both systems, meaning and implications of equilibrium diagrams are commented and discussed
