Oxidation deterioration suppressing device for resin filled in condensate desalting tower, and device therefor

Description
A deaeration module is assembled to at least one of a recycling line or a regeneration water line of a condensate desalting tower filled with an ion exchange resin to suppress oxidation deterioration of the resin by a deaerating device thereby capable of extending the working life of the resin and suppressing impurities leached from the resin. The deaerating module comprises a coaxial double walled cylindrical hollow thread membrane and a nonporous membrane sandwiched therebetween. Condensates are passed through the nonporous membrane to remove dissolved gases by utilizing the difference of the concentrations at the inside and the outside of the hollow thread membrane. The condensate filtering device and the condensate desalting tower are connected in series, the deaerating module is assembled, and then deaerated water is supplied to the condensate desalting tower. With such procedures, oxidation deterioration of the resin during collecting purified water in the condensate desalting tower can be suppressed. Oxygen cylinders are no more necessary or the consumption is reduced to attain cost down. (I.S.)
