Description
The methods of metallographic and micro-X-ray spectrum analyses were used in establishing the chemical heterogeneity of carbide crystals (Fe, Mo)6C. The indications of the microchemical heterogeneity observed of these crystals reveal quantitatively the features of their genesis in the process of peritectic transformation on the Fe + Mo2C→ (Fe, Mo)6C cycle
