Construction process for nuclear power plant
Description
In a manufacturing factory, reactor buildings and turbine buildings are constructed separately. The reactor building are incorporated with a reactor pressure vessel, a reactor container and relevant facilities. The turbine buildings are incorporated with a power generating turbine, an electric power generator, a condensator and relevant facilities. Concretes are placed to at least a portion of the bottom portions of the buildings. Floating portions are formed at the periphery of the main portions of the plant to increase buoyancy and a draft thereof is decreased. The main portions of the plant are floated on the sea by utilizing the buoyancy of the buildings, and are maritime transported from the manufacturing factory to a plant building site while being divided into the reactor buildings and the turbine buildings as they are. The maritime-transported main portions of the plant are carried to a portion above an installation foundation, lowered and then seated on the installation foundation. (I.N.)
