Capsules for irradiation
Description
Purpose: To obtain uniform irradiation temperature by decreasing the heat transfer in the longitudinal direction of a capsule, as well as enable to take out or replace a portion of the sample in the course of the irradiation test. Constitution: Irradiation samples are supported by supports and the full body is supported by an upper support. A heat-insulating member having a hollow portion therein is provided between an end plug and the irradiation sample and between the end plug and the upper support respectively. The portion corresponding to the end plug comprises a detacheable cap and the upper support. (Yoshino, Y.)
