Lie symmetries and integrable two-dimensional systems

Description
The conditions that a two-dimensional dynamical system must satisfy to have Lie's symmetries are established. These symmetries are then obtained for several physical situations and the conserved quantities associated to these symmetries are constructed, in some cases. Furthermore the inverse Lie method is used to generate classes of integrable systems. It is emphasized in the conclusion that the method does not allow the construction of all integrable systems. Abstract (Portuguese)
Estabelecem-se as condicoes que um sistema dinamico bidimensional deve satisfazer para admitir simetrias de Lie. Obtem-se, entao, essas simetrias para diversas situacoes fisicas, e constroem-se, em alguns casos, as quantidades conservadas a elas associadas. Em seguida utiliza-se o metodo de Lie inverso para gerar classes de sistemas bidimensionais integraveis. Enfatiza-se, concluindo, que o metodo nao permite a identificacao de todos os sistemas integraveis bidimensionais. (Autor)Additional details
