Research progress of Ra-228 analysis method in environmental samples

Description
This paper reviewed the analysis method of 228Ra in environmental samples such as drinking water, sea water and so on. Sample pretreatment such as evaporation, coprecipitation, adsorption, ion exchange and extraction were introduced and discussed. The common measurement method such as alpha spectrometry, gamma spectrometry and beta counting method were reviewed, and the detection limits, advantages and disadvantages were compared and analyzed. According to the research and development, rapid pretreatment, effective separation and accurate measurement should be carried out to optimize the analysis method of 228Ra in environmental samples.
