Description
Through ultrasonic exfoliation of bulk single crystal counterpart, 2D SnS2 nanoshees were prepared and dispersed in ethanol without the aid of any additives as a printable ink. Arbitrary patterns were able to be generated on paper and plastic substrates simply using a commercial inkjet printer. The printed line arrays of SnS2 nanosheets on polyimide film, as an example for applications, were further integrated with microelectrodes to function as a sensitive ammonia sensor, with the detection limit down to 5 ppm and fast response of less than 1 min. Our fabrication approach demonstrates great potential for low-cost, rapid and scalable production of 2D nanomaterials-based functional devices. (paper)
