Use of luminescent probe for investigation into europium compounds with dicarboxylic acids

  • 1. AN SSSR, Moscow. Inst. Radiotekhniki i Ehlektroniki

Description

The luminescent and IR spectroscopy techniques have been used in studying the structure of a number of compounds of europium with dicarboxylic acid, namely, its oxalate, malonates, succinate, fumarate and tartrate. The conditions under which these compounds are formed have been studied along with the spectroscopic manifestations of the coordination of carboxylates and hydroxy groups, which may be essential in studying complexing with more complex biologically active polycarbonic and hydroxycarbonic acids
