Description
The impressive inventory of pollution control equipment owned by the Western Canadian Spill Services Ltd. (WCSS), was discussed. Much of the equipment, including OSCAR trailers, river barges, Muskrat boats, lake booms and skimmers were bought by the now dissolved PROSCARAC and inherited by WCSS. The equipment located at 12 sites in Alberta, British Columbia, Saskatchewan and Manitoba is now maintained by professional custodians under the supervision of the WCSS equipment coordinator. 1 fig
