Some current problems of signal analysis in noise diagnostics for early detection of malfunctions

Description
Noise diagnostics is already routinely applied to some known and dominant effects in early detection of malfunctions. However, the great number of existing noise sources generally poses complex problems of signal analysis arising from the difficulty of isolating the single effect from the signals. Using control rod motions as an example it is shown that there is no universal procedure of signal analysis for decoding the information contained in a signal, that, however, the application of various model-oriented analytic procedures may be successful.
