This document describes requirements for rapid methods for radioactivity measurement in water samples in emergency situations: - unknown and possibly unusually high contamination rate; - use of radioactivity test methods in routine situation or application of specific rapid test methods; - preparation of the test laboratory for measurement of a large number of potentially contaminated samples. This document has been prepared by Technical Committee ISO/TC 147 'Water quality' in cooperation with Technical Committee CEN/TC 230 'Water analysis'. The responsible German standardization body is the subcommittee NA 119-01-03-08 UA 'Radioactivity measurement in water' of the working committee NA 119-01-03 AA 'Water analysis' in the DIN Standards Committee on Water (NAW).

Abstract (German)

Dieses Dokument beschreibt Anforderungen an Schnellverfahren zur Radioaktivitätsmessung in Wasserproben bei Notfallsituationen: - unbekannten und möglicherweise ungewöhnlich hohen Kontaminationsrate; - Verwendung Radioaktivitätsprüfverfahren in Routinesituation oder Anwendung spezifischer Schnelltestmethoden; - Vorbereitung des Testlabors zur Messung einer großen Anzahl potenziell kontaminierter Proben. Dieses Dokument wurde vom Technischen Komitee ISO/TC 147 'Water quality' in Zusammenarbeit mit dem Technischen Komitee CEN/TC 230 'Wasseranalytik' erarbeitet. Das zuständige deutsche Normungsgremium ist der Unterausschuss NA 119-01-03-08 UA 'Radioaktivitätsmessung im Wasser' des Arbeitsausschusses NA 119-01-03 AA 'Wasseruntersuchung' im DIN-Normenausschuss Wasserwesen (NAW).
