Monitoring of the sea: Report for the year 1983. Pt. 2
Description
In the context of collaboration with foreign authorities in monitoring compliance with international agreements to protect the marine environment, many measurements were taken by the German Hydrographic Institute in the North Sea and the Baltic in the year 1983. The feedstuff and oxygen contents, loading with heavy metals, concentrations of halogenized hydrocarbons, petroleum hydrocarbons, radioactivity, monitoring of the bottom of the sea for heavy metals, flows, temperatures and salt contents are shown in detailed tables and maps. Im Rahmen der Zusammenarbeit mit auslaendischen Behoerden bei der Ueberwachung der Einhaltung internationaler Uebereinkommen zum Schutz der Meeresumwelt wurden vom Deutschen Hydrographischen Institut fuer die Nord- und Ostsee im Jahre 1983 zahlreiche Messungen durchgefuehrt. Die Naehrstoff- und Sauerstoffgehalte, Schwermetallbelastungen, Konzentration an halogenierten Kohlenwasserstoffen, Erdoel-Kohlenwasserstoffe, Radioaktivitaet, Ueberwachung des Meeresbodens auf Schwermetalle, Stroemung, Temperaturverlauf, Salzgehalt werden in detaillierten Tabellen und Karten dargestellt.
